JOB PLACEMENTS

DCIC maintains an efficient Job Placement Office to assist a graduate in obtaining employment at no additional cost. The Job Placement office contains a research department which surveys the professional needs of potential employers and helps build an academic curriculum training and preparing students for such needs. Thus, students enter the job market armed with an occupation that is in high-demand increasing their chances on the job market. The Job Placement Office is also instrumental in obtaining internships for their students and helps students stay on after their internship is completed as a full-time employee.

The Job Placement Office is a dedicated department that helps students and graduates find suitable employment in a variety of ways:

• Conducts career development sessions designed to help students with interviewing skills,
   resumé preparation and professional image.
• Interviews students to assess their individual employment needs and desires.
• Surveys employers for hiring opportunities.
• Maintains and expands contacts with key industry personnel to further enhance the institute's
position as a reliable source of trained employees.
• Stages informational forums on campus to foster students' contact with potential employers.
